This weeks blog will be a little bit different. In a word, better. DV is overseas on a wellness mission, so I, the AGM will take over. (if you dont know these acronyms go back and read some old blogs)
Raw once again proved to be 1 hour too long. They have an opportunity to showcase younger talent with the extra time, yet instead they filled the time with useless promos and divas matches.
Raw kicked off with Cm Punk v. The Big Show. We all knew there would be no decisive winner, but Daniel Bryan's involvement surprised me a little. Bryan has lost steam because of a lame fued with AJ. He went from number 2 in the business to around number 7. and where was Kane? You are trying to push a paperview but only 3 matches were showcased. Bryan's current storyline is supposed to be centered around himself and AJ Lee and I get that but the match is with Kane and that's what you needed to sell on the last Raw before Summerslam. side note. the only thing worse than aj's acting is her theme music. I didnt agree with Bryan's involvment. he made Big Show seem secondary but he is in the triple threat Sunday, not Bryan. Another part that bewildered me is how they bill CM Punk as turning his back on Cena. they have never been friends. Punk has beat him time and time again, faces shouldnt have to kiss each others asses every night. After the tag team match I got the feeling that Triple H wants to main event summerslam. He left himself about 30 minutes for a "contract signing" with Brock Lesner. To be fair, theyll draw the most money but this is the type of thing Punk is talking about and he is exactly right. He should be the focus right now. My prediction for the triple threat is a CM punk victory, accompanied by a massive heel turn.
Daniel Bryan v. Kane: Bryan needs a win but WWE isnt that smart. Kane will win, unfortunately.
Do yourself a favor and watch the divas matches on mute from now on. That match took too much time and Layla made the match look like a joke. Layla smiles too much, even in the lock up. if you MUST have this division, let Beth dominate it again.
Ryback. I'll keep this short and boring just like his matches. Have a real fued already. No more squash matches. I didnt even know JTG still had a job. I think Jinder Mahal v Ryback has potential and Summerslam is a good time to pull that trigger and set that match. They should have, but didnt. On the bright side for Ryback, he has the crowds support big time. FEED HIM A FUED!
I always love a good Piper's Pit. I dont agree with the twitter vote but oh well, Im glad they chose Jericho. We all remember when Jericho Pinned Piper at wrestlemania and I was glad that was referenced. They didnt talk long before they were interupted by Ziggler and the Miz. I have to admit I cracked up when Piper tried to get a jericho chant going and was interupted by the Miz. Mainly because it was clearly not staged, Piper's timing was just awful. I thoroughly enjoyed the ensuing triple threat match though. Those three wrestlers looked great together. Got to give it up to Jericho too he truly believes in the younger talent and will push anyone WWE sees fit. Ziggler picked up the pinfall win over Jericho in a slobber knocker but the match was pretty even except the Miz looked like the ball in a tennis match at points. side note. cole keeps saying how dangerous the miz is since his return but he basicaly came back, won the title, and has lost every match since. My prediction for Jericho v Ziggler: Y2J (my favorite wrestler ever) will pick up the win and regain his dignity. This match will be the best match on the card. I think vicki will not be managing ziggler too much longer thankfully.
It has been announced that the Miz will defend the intercontinental title against Rey Mysterio at summerslam. I hope the Miz wins and picks up a little steam. They need to bring a little glory back to that belt and Miz is just the man for the job.
Sin Cara v Tensai left a lot to be desired. Every time those blue lights come on you can bet Sin cara will win. What's with Tensai always beating up his manager? When is someone going to handle all this domestic violence? They were on Ochocino in minutes for headbutting his significant other. Tensai does it every night. (People keeping up with this joke?) The beatings get wierder and wierder every time. I dont feel as though Tensai is long for the WWE.
I was surprised Damion Sandow obliterated Christian. Christian seems to be falling from grace. I could picture him making a jump to TNA in the near future. It was nice to see Brodus Clay without his stupid dancers or dancing gimmick. He is another guy who needs a big time change or he could find himself back in the irrelevent pile of backstage stars.
The prime time players are decent in the ring but their gimmick leaves a lot to be desired. The enterance needs work. I kind of feel bad for AW. there was a time where you could say anything in the WWE but now one Kobe comment can get you booted. Where was Kofi when they beat up R Truth after his match with Heath Slater? I feel like I missed something. R Truth's gimmick needs to change. this little jimmy thing has gone way too far. It made sense as a heel but now its just weird. I thought Truth was excellent as a heel, it might be time to let him go back to it. side note darren young's face reminds me of a black john cena
Random thought: Where is Cody Rhodes??
When I saw that the contract signing was all that was left and there was still 30 minutes left on Raw, I knew Michaels was going down. Shawn is kind of like Triple H's little brother or something. HHH is always saving him from something. We did get what we wanted though, a short contract signing. Michaels basically came back to get his ass handed to him by Brock. They needed to make Brock look dominant without making HHH look weak, so in comes HBK. Shawn must have got a decent payday because now he has to sell that broken arm, like Triple H forgot to do at the Mayweather fight. Lesner was his ass kicking machine self tonight even though we didnt get to see it. Bill him as a monster? Check. I'm surprised they are calling this Triple H's most personal battle yet. He's been through too much and the match doesnt need that kind of hype. Especially since the two of them have only been face to face 3 times ever. side note. i hope paul heyman sticks around for awhile to manage young talent. ziggler, miz, sandow, mahal, he could give any one of them a major boost.
My prediction for HHH v. Lesner: Leser will win in a blood bath. This will be a very physical match. Hopefully it is not as slow to unfold as the Cena/lesner match. Heyman, Stephanie, and HBK will be a big part of the decision.
SummerSlam Matches unaddressed:
Prime Time Players v. Truth and Kingston. Prime Time wins, the tag division will still suck. We all lose when a tag match or divas match comes up.
Antonio Cesaro v Santino Marella. We can only hope Marella is done with that belt. Cesaro would carry the belt well.
WWE TOP TEN 8/14/2012 ( excludes HHH and Lesner)
1. CM Punk
2. Sheamus
3. John Cena
4. Big Show
5. Alberto Del Rio
6. Dolph Ziggler
7. Already read told you, try and keep up
8. Chris jericho
9. The Miz
10. Damion Sandow
What to watch for: Wrestling legend Kurt Angle took to twitter last night to express his anger toward CM Punk for saying TNA is an Indy league.
Kurt Angle: "Punk wants to Say Tna Is An Indy League? I Was On top in Wwe when You Were trying to Get a Job Anywhere. It Was My Choice to go to Tna."
He continues; "If I ever See You Punk, Hide Bitch!"
We will see what happens with this in time. Punk might be a little too busy right now to bother addressing an angry angle who angers easily, but apologizes when he crosses the line.
This week recreate wrestling will pay tribute to the tag team division and its fall from grace.

Late on The Tuesday Wrestling Hangover
I am a little behind on the Hangover this week and next week I'm going to be out of the country looking for another member of Recreate Wrestling to write about next week's Raw. Just going to go over a few thoughts here.
Raw Active is kind of dumb.
Glad to see Wade Barrett is coming back.
Raw seems to have better matches now that the program is three hours but the show really drags.
I wondering if Ryback has pink eye.
So glad Damien Sandow is getting time on Raw. He is slowly becoming one of my favorites.
I'm digging the Daniel Bryan NO! NO! NO! shirt. His interaction with the fans is awesome.
Not really sure how HBK will help the Lesnar/Triple H match at Summer Slam but it is great to see him.
Alex Riley defeats Dolph Ziggler. Good for A. Ry
So Miz is the IC Champ but still loses every match.
I also wonder if Daniel Bryan will ever win another match?
I apologize for this being so short after Summer Slam The Wrestling Hangover will be going back to coming out Tuesday Mornings.

Tuesday Wrestling Hangover 7-31-2012
Last night Raw was live from Cincinnati Ohio for episode
1001. The start to the show had its hiccups with the Titan Tron catching on
fire. The show overall was pretty good but three hours is going to be tough to
watch every week. I found myself wanting the program to be over.
What I Think
I think I really liked the guy behind Cole and Lawler with
The Blue World Order shirt.
I think CM Punk was right that The Rock is not the WWE
Universe. The focus does need to be on the champion and it has not been.
Finally they have booked Punk to be mad about that. If indeed it is going to be
him and Rock at Royal Rumble it will be epic plain and simple.
I think I heard Big Show say John Cena lost the week before.
He may not have won the championship but he did win by DQ.
I think Santino did an awesome job taking a beating from
Alberto Del Rio last night. It what seems to be ADR’s last match before Summer
Slam Santino made him look solid.
I think I thoroughly enjoyed Damien Sandow’s beat down on
Brodus Clay. Sandow is a future champion love every time he’s on RAW.
I think AJ is really annoying it’s even worse now that she
is the GM of Raw.
I think Sheamus and Daniel Bryan gave us a really great
street fight. I do believe Bryan needs to win a match at some point. He always
loses. I think the backstage stuff with the doctor was hilarious. What was up
with the Kane attack?
I think Titus O’Neil got a well deserved win against Kofi
Kingston. It is time to make the Prime Time Players legit.
I think AW’s comment about Kobe Bryant and a Colorado hotel
room was uncalled for. That happened almost ten years ago. It wasn’t a PG thing
to say and most of the crowd probably had forgotten about the incident and were
confused what he was talking about. My question is was it planned? When they
came back from break Michael Cole apologized for the comment.
I think Randy Orton looked tiny in his match with Heath
Slater. It is obvious he is off the juice. He had a pretty strange haircut as
well.
I think I like where the Jericho/Ziggler feud is going. I
wish The Miz didn’t take the fall in the tag match.
I think I heard an Albert chant in the Tensai/Tyson Kidd
match. For a short match this was a great one. I hate reverse decisions. What decision
did the ref really make he just counted to three? WWE needs to decide what they
are going to do with Tensai.
I think it felt like they showed the Triple H/Brock Lesnar
video package a 100 times.
I think Big Show and John Cena put on a pretty good match. CM
Punk on commentary is always entertaining. I think the Big Show/John Cena/CM
Punk triple threat match at Summer Slam doesn’t need the Big Show.
I have to admit I was laughing when Punk kept saying show me
some respect to AJ as Raw went of the air.
Wrestler Of The Night: Damien Sandow. Great to see him
attack the most annoying wrestler on the roster.
Wrestler Who Had A Rough Night: Santino. He did a great job
selling for Del Rio but some of that had to hurt.

Tuesday Wrestling Hangover 7-24-2012
The 1000th episode of Raw from St. Louis was
truly a great show that gave us a chance to see both current and past
superstars. I have to admit I had my doubts that it would be a great show. I
found I was entertained throughout the broadcast. I do have my doubts that they
can do great three hour shows every week.
What I Think About The 1000th Episode of Raw
Opening Segment
I think it was awesome the crowd was chanting Thank You
Vince! Vince McMahon is truly the greatest wrestling mind of all time. The WWE
and Raw are a success because of him.
I think it was a great that it was truly DX this time. Shawn
Michaels and Triple H were the originators but Road Dogg, Billy Gunn, and X-Pac
helped really make the group so popular. They also had a longer run than Shawn
Michaels in the original DX. Only thing missing in the reunion was Chyna but in
all honesty if we never see her again that’s a good thing.
I really liked HBK and Billy Gunn arguing on who would say
if you aren’t down with that I got two words for ya.
I think Damien Sandow is the next big star in the WWE. I’m
glad he was chosen to interrupt DX.
I think the only thing to make this segment better was if
Brock Lesnar stormed the ring and attacked.
Rey Mysterio/Sin
Cara/Sheamus vs. Dolph Ziggler/Chris Jericho/ Alberto Del Rio
I think I liked that JR came down for commentary and was
sporting a beard.
I think Jim Ross put Michael Cole to shame. I like Cole but
he can’t tell a story or do play by play like Ross.
I think it was an interesting fact that Jericho has had the
second most matches on Raw behind Triple H.
I think the match was short but entertaining the Ziggler
Jericho feud is heating up and that’s a good thing. However I stick to my guns
and say Jericho’s days in wrestling are numbered.
Brodus Clay vs. Jack
Swagger
I think I’m really getting tired of Brodus Clay.
I think this was the worst Mick Foley appearance of his
current WWE return. I’m a Dude Love fan. But he couldn’t wear the shirt he had
from 97-98? Foley was just adding to the annoying squash match that went on.
WWE set Jack Swagger free.
AJ and Daniel Bryan
I think it was cool to see Slick but I could be wrong but
Raw was never around in his era.
I think I liked the crowd Whating Slick throughout the
wedding.
I think over all this was piss poor. Why did they bother
using the wedding to announce AJ as the new Raw GM. What a dumb idea to get
extra ratings.
Daniel Bryan, CM
Punk, and Rock Confrontation
I think I’m glad Rock shaved his beard he looks much younger
without it.
I think it was awesome to see CM Punk and The Rock in the
ring face to face. I think it was clear the Punk really doesn’t like Rocky.
This would only get better later in the night.
I think Rock getting an undeserved title shot at the Royal
Rumble is actually a good thing. How hyped up will this Pay Per View be?
Intercontinental
Title Match The Miz vs. Christian
I think it’s always great to see Bret Hart and I think Cole
even gave him credit for the Attitude Era.
I think Miz and Christian had a great match I’m really happy
Miz won the match and the IC Strap. This is finally the right direction for
him.
Brock Lesnar Answers
Triple H’s Challenge For Summer Slam
I think Heyman has done the best job of anyone with hyping
this match.
I think it’s always great to see Stephanie McMahon she
really looks good these days.
I’m glad the match is ready to go now but for me the whole
segment fell flat. I guess I expected more between Lesnar and Triple H. Does
WWE trust Lesnar with a microphone?
Heath Slater vs. Lita
I think this feud with legends has really paid off for The
One Man Band.
I think the beat down for all the former superstars was kind
of weak didn’t care much for it. Only thing I liked was Bradshaw’s Clothesline
From Hell.
Undertaker and Kane
Beat Up A Bunch Of Mid-Carders
I think it’s always great to see Undertaker. It’s even
better to see him with Kane. The crowd was right to chant This Is Awesome!
John Cena vs. CM Punk
I think it was great the crowd was split they were the top
two faces in the company.
I think I almost threw up when CM Punk wanted to shake hands
before the match.
I think I enjoyed the crowd booing Cena’s punches.
I think I really, really love the CM Punk heel turn. I could
not take much more of him kissing the crowd’s butt. I feel like CM Punk is
finally back!
Was it me or did Rock really sell the clothesline and GTS
well? If CM Punk faces The Rock at the Rumble it will be epic.
Side Notes
I think I hated the Charlie Sheen stuff. I thought he would
actually be there.
I think it was cool to see Sean Mooney again.
Wrestler Of The
Night: Without Question it was CM Punk. Finally he is a heel again.
Wrestler Who Had A
Rough Night: Mick Foley. It was an awful way to bring back Dude Love.

Tuesday Wrestling Hangover 7-17-2012
Ladies and Gentleman boys and girl children of all ages
Recreate Wrestling proudly presents to its Tuesday Wrestling Hangover!! Today
we are a little bit behind blogging about last night’s Raw. In all honesty Raw
from Las Vegas was pretty lackluster. Maybe I’m being a little bit negative but
with the 1000th show next week they could have done a lot more.
What I Think
OPENING SEGMENT
I think it was no surprise to anyone that John Cena won the
WWE Championship Contract Money In The Bank Match.
I think AJ should have screwed CM Punk in his WWE
Championship match with Daniel Bryan at Money In The Bank.
I think I’m sick of CM Punk kissing the crowd’s behind.
I think CM Punk speaking his mind a year ago didn’t start a
revolution but simply turned him into Cena Light.
I think Big Show is a main event jobber.
I think Big Show was right to say the company revolves
around one man. That man is John Cena.
KOFI KINGSTON/R-TRUTH
VS. THE PRIME TIME PLAYERS
I think AW is struggling to be interesting. He kind of is
having a Jimmy Hart thing going by talking in a microphone throughout the
match.
I think I was confused that the Prime Time Players got a
title match the night after losing on a pay per view.
I think The Prime Time Players are the best tag team WWE
currently has. I don’t believe it was their time to win the belts however these
guys need to get a big win.
I think Tout is going to annoy me. Does Raw really need to
be interactive? It’s not like creative will listen to the fans.
ZACK RYDER VS.
ALBERTO DEL RIO
I think it is great Ryder is getting more TV time.
I think it was clear he was going to job to Del Rio. They
could have at least made it a match. Ryder could be a great talent for WWE if
used correctly.
I think it is good that Rey Mysterio is back. I don’t think
he received a very good pop from the Las Vegas crowd. I think most fans have
lost interest in him.
HEATH SLATER VS. RIKISHI
I think I’m a big fan of the One Man Band.
I think I’ve always hated the stink face.
I think it was cool Rikishi got to dance with his sons the
Usos. I thought Too Cool was going to show up though.
DANIEL BRYAN/AJ VS. THE MIZ/EVE
I think I heard the crowd chant Hoeski at Eve.
I think it is great to see The Miz back. What was up with
his hair?
I think the crowd was doing a great job with the YES chants.
I think Miz looked like he didn’t want to be there.
I think I’m starting to believe The Miz will never get to
the level he was once at. WWE has taken away Miz’s spot. Damn shame.
I think I HATE wedding angles. Daniel Bryan seems to
understand that he is pissing off the crowd.
I think it was easy to see the wedding would be next week.
RYBACK VS. JACK
SWAGGER
I think it is good Ryback is finally getting real matches,
but last night proved how limited he really is. That match well wasn’t actually
a match because the bell never rang was absolutely terrible. Those power bombs
were hard to watch.
I think Ryback does have a good catch phrase. FEED ME MORE!
I think by October we won’t be seeing much of Ryback
anymore. Creative won’t know what to do with him and they will give up.
DOLPH ZIGGLER/CHRIS
JERICHO SEGMENT
I think I can’t wait until Ziggler is World Champion.
I think Chris Jericho turned face last night.
I think they had to make it clear that Jericho has won
nothing since returning.
I think Chris Jericho has really lost his touch. Retirement
for good could be coming soon.
BRODUS CLAY VS. JTG
I think I’m surprised JTG is still employed by WWE. This guy
hasn’t done anything since Cryme Tyme. Why is he still around?
I think I have realized Brodus Clay is just a PG guy Vince
wanted on the roster to help get more kids to watch.
CM PUNK VS. THE BIG
SHOW
With all the talk of the being the last two hour Raw I think
within six months it will go back to two hours.
I think Punk and Big Show had a pretty good match.
I think I’m starting to hate John Cena again. The goody two
shoes gimmick is so bad.
I do think CM Punk and John Cena will have a great match for
the WWE Championship next week. I won’t be surprised if Cena wins.
Wrestler Of The Night: CM Punk. I’m going with him because
he proves he can have a great match with anyone.
Wrestler Who Had A Rough Night: Ryback. What he proved last
night is he can’t wrestle.
This week Recreate Wrestling pays tribute to Sherri Martel.
