Tuesday Wrestling Hangover 7-17-2012

Ladies and Gentleman boys and girl children of all ages Recreate Wrestling proudly presents to its Tuesday Wrestling Hangover!! Today we are a little bit behind blogging about last night’s Raw. In all honesty Raw from Las Vegas was pretty lackluster. Maybe I’m being a little bit negative but with the 1000th show next week they could have done a lot more.

What I Think

OPENING SEGMENT

I think it was no surprise to anyone that John Cena won the WWE Championship Contract Money In The Bank Match.

I think AJ should have screwed CM Punk in his WWE Championship match with Daniel Bryan at Money In The Bank.

I think I’m sick of CM Punk kissing the crowd’s behind.

I think CM Punk speaking his mind a year ago didn’t start a revolution but simply turned him into Cena Light.

I think Big Show is a main event jobber.

I think Big Show was right to say the company revolves around one man. That man is John Cena.

KOFI KINGSTON/R-TRUTH VS. THE PRIME TIME PLAYERS

I think AW is struggling to be interesting. He kind of is having a Jimmy Hart thing going by talking in a microphone throughout the match.

I think I was confused that the Prime Time Players got a title match the night after losing on a pay per view.

I think The Prime Time Players are the best tag team WWE currently has. I don’t believe it was their time to win the belts however these guys need to get a big win.

I think Tout is going to annoy me. Does Raw really need to be interactive? It’s not like creative will listen to the fans.

ZACK RYDER VS. ALBERTO DEL RIO

I think it is great Ryder is getting more TV time.

I think it was clear he was going to job to Del Rio. They could have at least made it a match. Ryder could be a great talent for WWE if used correctly.

I think it is good that Rey Mysterio is back. I don’t think he received a very good pop from the Las Vegas crowd. I think most fans have lost interest in him.

HEATH SLATER VS. RIKISHI

I think I’m a big fan of the One Man Band.

I think I’ve always hated the stink face.

I think it was cool Rikishi got to dance with his sons the Usos. I thought Too Cool was going to show up though.

DANIEL BRYAN/AJ VS. THE MIZ/EVE

I think I heard the crowd chant Hoeski at Eve.

I think it is great to see The Miz back. What was up with his hair?

I think the crowd was doing a great job with the YES chants.

I think Miz looked like he didn’t want to be there.

I think I’m starting to believe The Miz will never get to the level he was once at. WWE has taken away Miz’s spot. Damn shame.

I think I HATE wedding angles. Daniel Bryan seems to understand that he is pissing off the crowd.

I think it was easy to see the wedding would be next week.

RYBACK VS. JACK SWAGGER

I think it is good Ryback is finally getting real matches, but last night proved how limited he really is. That match well wasn’t actually a match because the bell never rang was absolutely terrible. Those power bombs were hard to watch.

I think Ryback does have a good catch phrase. FEED ME MORE!

I think by October we won’t be seeing much of Ryback anymore. Creative won’t know what to do with him and they will give up.

DOLPH ZIGGLER/CHRIS JERICHO SEGMENT

I think I can’t wait until Ziggler is World Champion.

I think Chris Jericho turned face last night.

I think they had to make it clear that Jericho has won nothing since returning.

I think Chris Jericho has really lost his touch. Retirement for good could be coming soon.

BRODUS CLAY VS. JTG

I think I’m surprised JTG is still employed by WWE. This guy hasn’t done anything since Cryme Tyme. Why is he still around?

I think I have realized Brodus Clay is just a PG guy Vince wanted on the roster to help get more kids to watch.

CM PUNK VS. THE BIG SHOW

With all the talk of the being the last two hour Raw I think within six months it will go back to two hours.

I think Punk and Big Show had a pretty good match.

I think I’m starting to hate John Cena again. The goody two shoes gimmick is so bad.

I do think CM Punk and John Cena will have a great match for the WWE Championship next week. I won’t be surprised if Cena wins.

Wrestler Of The Night: CM Punk. I’m going with him because he proves he can have a great match with anyone.

Wrestler Who Had A Rough Night: Ryback. What he proved last night is he can’t wrestle.

Tuesday Morning Wrestling Hangover 7-10-12

Raw took place last night from Denver Colorado and we saw the return on the Anonymous Raw General Manager. I have to be honest most of today’s Tuesday Morning Wrestling Hangover will come off a little bit negative because that was a horrible Raw heading into Money In The Bank.

I Think

I think the opening segment of the show featuring AJ, CM Punk, and Daniel Bryan was hard to watch. The whole love triangle storyline has become stale and lame. I think if anything AJ is starting to hurt the Bryan Punk feud. All the sudden there is marriage talk and the crowd is chanting AJ is pregnant. I thought I was watching Jerry Springer and not Monday Night Raw. I mean WWE has done angles like this before but I can honestly say I have never been a fan of them with the exception of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon back in 1999-2000. If this is the monster storyline WWE creative came up with fire them all.

I think I was at first happy there would be conclusion finally to who was the Anonymous Raw General Manager but I would be so disappointed as the show went on.

I think it is time WWE cuts Jack Swagger loose. He like a lot of wrestlers last night didn’t even receive an entrance on TV and then he was destroyed but Sheamus in like a minute. I think Swagger actually has wrestling ability but WWE doesn’t know what to do with him. I have a feeling he could thrive in TNA.

I think there was a lack of wrestling going happening on last night’s show.

I think I’m actually excited to see The Rock at the 1000th episode of Raw. Would it be cool if he threw down a challenge for a match for the WWE championship?

I think the second actual match of the night was too short. Tensai and Ziggler defeated Christian and Tyson Kidd. None of these men received a televised ring entrance and Tensai pinned Christian within the first minute and a half of the match. What I did notice is the Ziggler/Guerrero split is becoming more obvious. Vickie seemed to like the beat down Tensai gave to Tyson Kidd after the match.

I think I want to see Damien Sandow on Raw as well as Smackdown. He might be the most interesting character in the company right now.

I think I had zero interest in seeing Lawler vs. Cole. I also believe the voting system on WWE.Com is rigged.

I think Brodus Clay vs. Drew McIntyre was a waste of time. This was yet another quick match with McIntyre not even receiving a ring entrance. To be honest I forgot he even existed. The only cool thing was when Drew jumped off the ropes and Clay gave him a head butt to the chest.

I think I’m disappointed that Money In The Bank won’t be close to be as good as last year’s show.

I think John Cena’s promo about the WWE Championship Money In The Bank contract was long and lame. I think the tag match with Jericho/Bg Show vs. John Cena/Kane went on too long. Also didn’t Kane try to get Cena to Embrace The Hate not too long ago?

I think Big Show’s heel turn has failed. They say he unstoppable but Cena has already beat him. It is a one sided rivalry where Cena always wins.

I think I don’t know why the tag match ended. I think it was DQ because show pulled Cena of Jericho. Usually in a tag match that is not a DQ. What was going on there?

I think Eve is a wrestler again? She got lost in the mix.

I think CM Punk has been overshadowed by Cena, The  Rock, and Brock Lesnar. I wouldn’t say Big Show and Triple H though. Surprised WWE let Eve say this.

I think I wish Heath Slater beat Sin Cara to get in the Money In The Bank match. I like Heath Slater a lot now.

I think it was get to see Bob Backland again. This guy should be in the Hall of Fame already.  The Cross Face Chicken Wing is one of the best moves ever.

I think Cole vs. Lawler was the worst match the two have had. What do you know but Horns woggle was the Anonymous Raw General Manger. Thanks for that WWE. Are you freaking kidding me? After all that you give us Hornswoggle? Just like when he was Vince’s son? What a huge disappointment, as usual.

I think I really hate AJ’s music that might be the most annoying theme music next to Eugene’s in WWE history.

I hope after Sunday the AJ, Punk, and Bryan storyline come to an end. Or at least AJ is removed from it,  again another terrible way to end Raw.  She slaps both wrestlers then smiles ok neat.

Wrestler Of The Night: I don’t think anyone had a really good night at all. I’m going to go with Tensai however. He got a pin fall victory and seems like he may have a new manager soon.

Wrestler Who Had A Rough Night: The WWE Universe. Thanks for another long term storyline that end with Horns woggle. The fans are the ones who suffer.

Tuesday Morning Wrestling Hangover 7-3-12

Last Night’s Raw took place in the great state of Texas and the show seems to be improving as the Summer is starting to pick up. Teddy Long filled in as the GM but failed to have the impact Vickie Guerrero had the week before. I have to say Money In The Bank should be an interesting pay per view with certain talent finally getting a chance to shine. With all the being said let’s get into what I think.

What I Think

I think the Money In The Bank match for a WWE Championship contract needs more than four participants.

I think it is interesting that John Cena will finally take place in one of these matches. Money In The Bank matches have been around since WrestleMania 21 the same night John Cena won his first WWE Championship from JBL. He has never had the need to be in one of these matches. Can anyone actually believe it’s almost been a year since Super Cena has been a champion?

I enjoyed how much the crowd hated Daniel Bryan. Their chants of NO! NO! NO! Had me laughing.

Earlier this week I posted a youtube video of Daniel Bryan and John Cena wrestling on Velocity back in what I belive was 2003. How amazing how far these two have come since then. I think Daniel Bryan and John Cena could have a great feud after Summer Slam.

I think I liked Chris Jericho calling CM Punk out again for stealing his catchphrase. Plain and simple Jericho started Best In The World.

Jericho going off on all his catchphrases was awesome. Chris Jericho is truly one of the all time great performers in Wrestling History.

I think I’m tired of WWE showing the Did You Know clips. No I didn’t know Kim Kardishian was 12 when Raw started and nor do I care.

I think it’s great the Prime Time players are getting on Raw more often.

I think Cody Rhodes has fallen in the ranks of WWE. This somewhat frustrated me because I thought after his loss to Big Show at Mania they would push him into the World Title picture. I guess that was just wishful thinking. This guy is a great heel and they probably will blow it with him.

I think I was shocked R. Truth was already back.

I think the 8 man tag was a good way to get multiple wrestlers on the show. When Raw goes to three hours WWE will finally be forced to push their mid card talent.

I think I realize why I hate AW so much. This guy has zero personality and is so bland.

I think Prime Time Players walking out of their match again proves they are playing cowardly heels.

I think I was surprised to see Brodus Clay do a run in. After last week I assumed he was going on injured reserve. This week there was not even a mention of the beating Big Show gave him last week. What I have figured out about Brodus Clay is he will be a lifetime mid card guy. His biggest accomplishment will be a US Title run that’s about it. Did anyone else notice all the kids he had dancing in the ring had Cena shirts on?

I think I loved seeing the Vince McMahon training video from 1999. I HATE AUSTIN!!!

I think Sin Cara got a pretty good pop from the Texas crowd. But he got completely beat down by Alberto Del Rio. I think what happened there really help Del Rio but makes Sin Cara even more pointless.

I think they made it seem like Brock Lesnar would be on the show last night. It was disappointing when he wasn’t. However Paul Heyman again does a solid job carrying this storyline. This guy does not botch promos what an amazing storyteller.

I think it’s times to break up Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero. I’m starting to notice there is tension between them. I don’t think Ziggler needs a manager anymore.

I think I hate mixed tag matches.

I think I’m really liking what the One Man Band Heath Slater is doing. Great to see Doink but that was not Doink and it was a sad excuse for him. When DDP came out I was marking out.

I think I’m excited to own No Hold Barred. It’s so cheesy its actually good.

I think Kane and Big Show actually had a good no dq match. I wish Kane was receiving the push Big Show got. I keep saying I want to see Kane as WWE Champion.

I think I have no idea what Eve Torres’s role is anymore.

I think it was interesting that had Alberto Del Rio talk about the DX invasion of WCW.

I think I was in complete shock when Tyson Kidd pinned Tensai in like 15 seconds. I had to say Kidd deserves a big win, but I’m not going to get too excited abiut his current push because they could end it. I have no clue where Tensai is going. They have truly dropped the ball with him. Didn’t he beat CM Punk and John Cena?

I think I liked D. Bryan making fun of Chris Jericho’s jacket.

I think the crowd was awesome during the main event.

I think CM Punk and Daniel Bryan have great in-ring chemistry.

I think AJ is taking over the storyline and I didn’t know what to make of her pushing Punk and landing on Bryan through the table. Honestly I hated the end of Raw but it will be interesting where they go from here.

Wrestler Of The Night: Tyson Kidd. Huge win for the former Hart Dynasty member.

Wrestler Who Had A Rough Night: Tensai. It continues to be confusing where he is going.

This week Recreate Wrestling pays tribute to Andre The Giant.

I hope everyone has a great and safe 4th of July.
