First Blog From Recreate Wrestling/ Wrestlemania 28

I would like to welcome everyone to the launch of Recreate Wrestling. This blog focuses only on the opinion of Dan Venus and Recreate Wrestling. I have been a Pro Wrestling fan for 20 years. The first match I ever saw was Mr. Perfect v. Bret Hart at Summer Slam 1991. Some of my favorite wrestlers ever are Stone Cold Steve Austin, Randy "Macho Man" Savage, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, The Undertaker, and "The Franchise" Shane Douglas. The main focus of this blog will be WWE. However I will have posts about TNA Impact Wrestling.

WrestleMania 28: Someone John Cena Can't Beat.

Last night WWE put on the annual WrestleMania the biggest Pay Per View in Pro Wrestling. "Once in a lifetime," The Rock faced John Cena in the main event. Anyone who says Rock winning is a good thing is missing the big picture. WWE's top star was beat by someone who has basically become on outsider to wrestling. This mega card did not do much to establish new stars and that is unfortunate. However it was an amazing show.

What I liked:
*Taker and Triple H stole the show. I am hoping this is it for Undertaker 20-0 will never be touched.

*Miz winning it for Team Johnny.

*I always love seeing the sharpshooter thank you Rock.

*Jericho's Best In The World trunks.

*Outside Venue

*That Brodus Clay appeared on the show. (will also become a dislike)

*Taker kicking out of both the superkick and pedigree.

*Title changes

*Rhodes is now free to go after the World Title.

*There will be more of John Laurinaitis. Guy is great heel boss character.


What I did't like:

*Rock over Cena (It will be interesting how it plays out)

*Divas match gets more time than the World Title.

*Vince remember we pay a lot of money to see this. A squash match for the World Title is just a shame.

*Zack Ryder losing it for Team Teddy. Ryder has been buried since his push at the end of 2011. Did WWE really sacrifice Ryder for an Eve Torres push?

*Dolph Ziggler not being in a singles match. This guy can work and deserves a big match at Mania.

*WrestleMania 28 did nothing to establish new stars. This could hurt them in the long run.

*Great to see Brodus Clay but horrible how they used him. Is this guy ever going to see anything more than a squash match?

Wrestler Of The Week:
The Undertaker. This was an epic match he put on with Triple H. Great job by HBK as well. Again I'm hoping thats a wrap for Taker he has done everything he could possible do in the business. Time to end it with his head up high and a 20-0 record at WrestleMania.

Wrestler Who Had A Rough Week:
Zack Ryder. WWE what are you thinking with this guy? I would honestly like to know. How many times can his character fall for Eve Torres's shananigans? He should be having a break out 2012 however creative is not pulling the trigger. Terrible.
